These natural shells originating from the Indian Ocean are made of vibrant iridescent colours that reflect the colours of the ocean. Each shell possesses a strong emotional bond with the Earth and its healing capabilities bring peace, love, calm and harmony to one's life. Open windows and doors to allow heavy energy to leave your space. Place the sage bundle in an abalone shell and light the tip until it smolders. Gently guide the smoke throughout your home, focusing on corners, doorways, and areas that need cleansing. You may also waft the smoke around your body to cleanse your aura. Set an intention for the energy you wish to invite in. Allow the sage to extinguish safely in the abalone shell when finished.
Open a window or door and place an abalone shell nearby. Light one end of the Palo Santo stick for 30–60 seconds, then gently blow out the flame. Move through your space, allowing the smoke to cleanse each room. You may also guide the smoke around your body to cleanse your aura. Focus on your intention, then place the stick in the abalone shell to extinguish naturally.
